I do not agree with the flap. cut little fins are shaped in any way. Landings will be easier on a board is too large, you may suffer in the agility and the Promenade manerverability.
Me and my mother used the same card with a difference of 50 pounds for a wiegh. It may be good advice, the control, but I am very small and have difficulty to add something, so I think it would be helpful if you are a smaller size if you can get. Select fins also help to add something to their control
